Spike Run

Spike Run is an arcade platformer where, surprisingly enough, you don't control a character. Instead, you control the spikes that should be avoided. In this game, there's a cube that automatically moves in the right direction, climbing the steps and turning when appropriate. Your job is to try to help the cube survive by controlling the spikes.

To make the spikes disappear, just tap the screen long enough for the cube to pass over them. If you don't time it correctly, the cube hits the spikes and the game ends.

Each time you start playing, just like in other Ketchapp apps, the level changes color to give some variety to the game. There are also crystals to collect as you play, which you can use to get new characters (such as cube-shaped hippos and devils).

Spike Run is a good arcade platformer that offers some originality in an otherwise highly-saturated genre. In Spike Run, the most interesting part is that you don't control the main character, but instead, the obstacles it needs to avoid.
